Partial Protosphyraena rostrum

Protosphyraena is a sword fish from the Cretaceous.  This is the back of the rostrum and has the upper teeth sockets.  This piece had weathered out and appears to have been exposed for a while.  This piece measures almost 2 1/2" long.  This fossil is from the Niobrara Chalk of Western Kansas.
