Protosphyraena Skull 2
This is an exploded Protosphyraena skull collected in the Cretaceous Niobrara Chalk of Kansas. Pieces have been removed from original matrix and placed in a plaster matrix. The oak frame measures 25.5" x 13.5" x 2.5" deep. The rostrum is nearly complete. All four jaws are present, but not all complete. Several skull plates were also present.
