1 7/16" Cretoxyrhina mantelli #6

This is a large Cretoxyrhina mantelli tooth measuring just at 1 7/16".  This is a beautiful dark brown tooth and nearly perfect.  Teeth of this quality are rare. Under high resolution photography the spot on the front of the tooth appears to be some enamel wear however it is smooth to the touch.  See high resolution pictures for details. The tooth is from the Cretaceous age Niobrara chalk of western Kansas.  This is a tooth we have collected ourselves.
