Ptychodus mortoni #8

  • $40.00

This is a very large Ptychodus mortoni tooth from the Cretaceous age Niobrara Chalk of Western Kansas.  Ptychodus was a shell crushing shark.  Tooth measures 1 3/8" wide.  Enamel is bleached but in good condition.  There is a large crack where the tooth split but it was found this way and has not been glued.  See pictures for details.
