1 13/16" Cretoxyrhina mantelli #4
This is a rare large Cretoxyrhina mantelli tooth measuring just over 1 13/16". The tooth is complete and nearly perfect with beautiful color. There is a nick on the front (labial) side of the tooth that appears to be from another tooth. There are also some very minor nicks along the blade that are difficult to see with the naked eye. See high resolution pictures for details. The tooth is from the Cretaceous age Niobrara chalk of western Kansas. I haven't found a tooth of this size or quality in a long time.
