2 1/16" Cretoxyrhina mantelli Very Large #2

This is a large Cretoxyrhina mantelli tooth measuring just over 2 1/16".  Teeth this size are rare.  The tooth is complete however the display side has some minor bleaching and the other side is completely bleached.  The root on the bleached side has been eroded and there are some nicks on the blade.  See high resolution pictures for details. The tooth is from the Cretaceous age Niobrara chalk of western Kansas.  This is a tooth we have collected ourselves.
